Students will be conducting an experiment to figure out the distance between each of the planets using mathematical calculations. Students will have to measure the distance between planets in a model that I had have set up for them. After getting those measurements, I will give students the ratio I used and students will find the actual distance from each planet to the sun. After the distance is found, students are going to figure out how long it would take them to travel to which ever planet they want via space shuttle.
